Service and facilities

You can be sure of excellent service during your holiday. Our reception is open every day and it’s the place to go for such things as fresh bread rolls, use of the washing machine and dryer, information about your stay and the local area and its attractions, and use of the Internet. You can get discounts and/or free meals and drinks from us too for various museums and attractions and we can arrange a reliable babysitter for you. We will put up a cot, highchair and/or playpen in your accommodation (if not already there) ready and waiting for you. If you are staying in the ‘Zee, Bos en Duin’ [Sea, Woods and Dunes] bungalow park or in one of the houses located at the Noordendolfer, then you will be able to use WiFi via your own laptop.
For your extra convenience we offer you the options of having your shopping delivered to your holiday accommodation before your arrival, of linen hire and of having the beds made up for you. All these options are available to you at cost price.
Should you experience any technical faults or other urgent problems, there is always someone on call to solve the problem as quickly as possible or lend assistance in some other way. We consider it crucial that you find your accommodation absolutely spotless and that is why we make sure that the final cleaning after departure is absolutely thorough and done professionally.

General information about the holiday accommodation

Holiday accommodation
Standard features of all holiday homes are central heating with radiators in every room, cable television,
a safe, a clock radio, individual parking spaces (with the exception of Merelnest and Stenen Koe) and
a terrace and/or garden with garden furniture. (Extra) luxury accommodation also has a stereo.
The standard sanitary facilities are a shower, toilet and one or more washbasins. The extra deluxe houses have a second toilet and a bath. They also have a second TV and a wood stove.
A telephone for internal and external use is present in all the holiday houses on Noordendolfer and in the ‘Zee, Bos en Duin’ park.

Kitchen / cooking area
As standard, the kitchen or cooking area has a refrigerator with a small two-star (**) freezing compartment, a four-ring gas cooker, extractor hood, coffee percolator, cleaning materials and plenty of crockery, pans, cutlery and so forth. The (extra) deluxe apartments also have a washing machine, a dishwasher, a microwave and a separate three-star (***) freezer. The extra deluxe accommodation also has a toaster, and the microwave is a combination oven.

Beds
Many of the beds in the standard-level accommodation are boxsprings. The other beds have wooden frames and a slatted base. The beds in the deluxe and extra deluxe accommodation are mostly boxsprings. The wooden single beds are 80cm wide and 190cm long. Most of the single boxsprings are 90cm wide and 210 cm long, but some may be 80cm wide and/or 200cm long. The standard double beds are 140cm wide and 200cm long. The beds have mattress protectors, pillows and duvets (the double beds have a single 200x200cm duvet). You can bring your own bed linen or hire it from us.

Children’s furniture
Some of the standard accommodation has a cot. There is a cot and highchair in all the (extra) deluxe accommodation. An (extra) cot and highchair as well as a playpen and/or stair guard can be provided in the house for you, for a modest fee. The cots that are present in the accommodation as standard and the cots that can be hired are all camping beds; the playpens have net sides.

Pets
Dogs are welcome at all our accommodation except for the (Group) Hotel and the apartments Zuiderstrand, Emergo and carpeted Oase type 1 apartments. Please tell us when making your reservation if you want to bring a pet (dog/cat). There is a surcharge for pets.

Accessibility and facilities

Parking exemption and facilities for the disabled
Is it difficult for you to get to the beach using the normal access over the dunes? Call the public reception desk at Veere municipality (tel. +31-118-555447). You can ask for a parking exemption. You will then be allowed to park your car on the boulevard.
On the Boulevard (at the ‘’t Pauwtje’ dune crossing) there is a beach that also has access for the disabled.
There is a disabled toilet here, there are planks to walk on and you can hire a modified beach hut.
You can use a ‘strandjutter’, a wheelchair specially adapted to let you explore the whole beach.

Beach wheelchair (‘strandjutter’) rental
The VVV beach office has a beach wheelchair.
There is also one at the lifeguard station on the boulevard. Reservations can be made through
ssw@zeelandnet.nl. The VVV beach office has a beach wheelchair.

Facilities and care in the holiday accommodation
